Vark was created with the user in mind—to make valet parking easier. Therefore, we have tried to make it as easy as possible to use. However, as with any new app, there are always some questions that arise. Read on to learn more about our app!

Common questions about the Vark Customer’s App:

How long does it take to register as a user?

When you first use Vark will simply download the app and create a profile. After you have a registered profile each valet visit with a location using Vark will take seconds. Registering is quick and easy, you can use your phone number or your email address and always go back into the app later to add more details about yourself or change vehicle details!

Why is there an option for adding more than one vehicle?

While developing Vark we considered all the options that may take place when you valet a car, including going out of town and renting a car or owning multiple vehicles. The ability to manage what vehicles are registered to your user allows you to add or delete new vehicles.

I noticed there is a place to enter in my payment method—how do I know this is secure?

Now-a-days less and less people carry cash, and is super inconvenient to remember to keep cash and especially smaller bills to tip valets with. Thus, you are left with either committing a faux pas of not tipping or not allowing yourself to valet. Therefore, our feature allows you to pay and tip with ease through our app and is completely PCI compliant. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) is an information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card schemes and ensures your payment information is safe and secure.

Why do you have a suggestions box?

As we continue to grow there may be locations that we’ve missed and we want your feedback to help us find those places that would benefit our loyal customers directly! Remember, the more places that use valet the more convenient it is for you!

If I sign up (with either email or phone number) will I receive spam from you?

No, way my friend! We don’t like to be bothered so we certainly won’t both you. This is simply needed to allow for a secure log in. These details are not stored to be used on a listserv blanket marketing operation. Remember, we are trying to make life easier and less obnoxious for you! 😊

The app wants me to have push notifications turned on, is that important?

Yes, it is. You need to turn on notifications from our app to be notified when your car has changed activities; for example, when it’s on the way to you or when it’s finally parked. You will only get notifications if you are using the app to request your vehicle.

I noticed a VIP Services tab, what does this entail?

Certain valet locations might want to offer you extra VIP services such as a cold beverage waiting for you on a hot day, or maybe even an oil change if you’re valeting at a hotel or airport. This VIP area within the app gives them the opportunity to add those additional conveniences for you.
